Hi, I’m Sam.
Sam joins our team with a powerful combination of academic excellence and real-world compassion. A graduate with honors from the University of Colorado Boulder, Sam holds a degree in Quantitative Economics with a minor in Political Science — a background that has shaped him into both a sharp analytical thinker and a clear, thoughtful communicator. He's at home with advanced mathematics, including calculus and linear algebra, and equally comfortable breaking down complex ideas into something a student can actually grasp and feel confident about.
What makes Sam stand out, though, isn't just his academic toolkit — it's how he uses it. While completing his degree, Sam worked full-time supporting individuals navigating drug and alcohol addiction, an experience that has given him a deep well of patience, empathy, and steady presence. He understands that learning is rarely just about the material; it's about the person sitting across the table, what they're carrying, and what they need to feel capable.
Sam is excited to work with a wide range of students, including those who are typically developing, students who need extra study support and accountability, and students navigating Down syndrome, anxiety, ADHD, or PTSD. He brings warmth, structure, and a genuine belief that every student can grow.
